Dr. Travis J. Wetzel was born in Badger, Iowa although Humboldt is where he spent much of his time growing up. He attended Iowa State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and health. He then followed in the footsteps of his grandpa and uncle and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he graduated cum laude in 2016. Following his graduation from Palmer, Travis moved to Chandler, Arizona. He has
continued to further his own knowledge and training to be able to help patients by taking courses that included McKenzie Method, Activator instrument adjusting, Dynamic Taping, upper and lower extremity adjusting, Integrative Dry Needling, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to name a few.
Dr. Wetzel believes the best part of being in the chiropractic profession is the ability to help people reach their goals of becoming and staying healthier. There is no better feeling than being able to help a person get back to doing the things they enjoy with the people they love.
Typically, in his free time Dr. Wetzel likes to spend time with friends and family, exercise, and watch some football (Go Cyclones!). When he has the opportunity, he also enjoys riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, getting out into nature, and archery.
